Today, NFNDRC and DOTs organised an artificial limb distribution programme at NTPC Korba Hospital.

NTPC foundation runs two projects in NTPC Korba Hospital, NFNDRC and DOTS cum DMC wherein, four artificial limbs were distributed to the divyang people of the nearby villages by Shri Sarit Maheshwari, BUH Korba, Smt. Rakhi Maheshwari, President, Maitri Mahila Samiti and Shri Vinod Kolhatkar, CMO, NTPC Korba Hospital.

Under NFNDRC and DOTS centre, nutritional supplements were distributed to the 13 patients suffering from tuberculosis who are under treatment. Nutritional supplement distribution takes place monthly regularly. 

On this occasion, all senior doctors and hospital staff of NTPC Korba Hospital were present.

In the last five years, approximately 400 artificial limbs and appliances, were distributed to Divyang peoples and 4000 people benefited through the DOTS cum DMC centre.

Such socially beneficial programs are a day-to-day activity of NTPC Korba Hospital under the supervision and guidance of CMO, NTPC Korba Hospital.
